Rev. Rhythm, Mijo, MoonBeam, Bones, Jimbo and Sparks make
up the fiery ensemble known as Soulfire. Mixing Mid-East, African,
Native American, Funk comes naturally to the group. Soulfire has played
with Heritage O.P, Christine Stevens, and Barry Skeete who will be
joining them on stage.
"We are very organic" says Rev Rhythm, "We can pick up a Djembe, a
Doumbek and Frame Drum and start making music, finding the groove as we
go."
See Soulfire performing live during Alex Grey's live painting on Thursday and Friday
night. They will also be running the Sound Atrium experience inviting
participants to start the heartbeat rhythm and feel the groove build
around them.
